How bring on Desktop Gadget in Windows 8

I liked desktop gadget, does is possible to turn on gadget on Windows 8, yesterday i installed Windows 8 is much better than 7, but i want desktop gadget back

I also have trouble with the transition getting used to the absence of the Start menu, but i liked the metro UI too

Nevertheless I'm Aspie and and as many aspies i have problems with adapting to new things

, I'm the type who does not like too dramatic changes
