Does anyone know of any good database filesystems out there (either free or not free)?
I really like the free e-book management package called Calibre and how it allows you to apply custom metadata to all your books, but it's not ideal for filing mp3s and videos. Is there anything similar out there?

There's one called Iron > Speed which has a free trial but with training, be able to database everything

This link to possible alternatives to Calibre may also be of help :)

Thanks for your help both of you.
Actually, I have just discovered an mp3 tag editor (mp3tag), so that should do the trick for all my audio-visual files. Then I can just keep using Calibre for all my Word (actually RTF) and PDF docs.
