Not at all. Please leave your political point scoring at the front door. I was indifferent of Moore's politics in life, and in death it will not alter my opinion of him.

I loved Moore for his showmanship, humour, and most of all a mutual passion for science.

Politics was an irrelevancy.

The reason I said that was due to the furore on Twitter by left-wingers at hearing he was UKIP.

That said, I read that he was an absolutely wonderful man to absolutely everyone, had a wonderful oratorical gift, and never let his political beliefs alter that facet of his life.

I remember his distinctive eye-piece and his delivery, which (if you look at older clips) has definitely changed with time.

Right, so your knee jerk reaction was to clump me together with the afforementioned left wingers?

Your opportunism is matched only by your presumptiousness and condescension.
