Up until recently I've been using a USB wireless mouse with the trackpad fine, but just noticed today that the trackpad has stopped working. Do not remember damaging it physically, Tried a system restore to 4 days ago and it is still not responding. According to the mouse manager under the control panel the trackpad is working. Its a Toshiba satellite laptop with Windows 7. Anyone any ideas? Please help!

Have you tried Fn and F9?

I had the same thing happen a few years ago, and I am desperately trying to remember how I fixed it.
