Who in here uses Google Earth? It's really neat. If you use it, you will get an idea of what I do at my current job.

I use it to look at towns I live in or used to live in and I use it for directions and just to see what buildings look like from the air.

I work for a city government and I can readily recognize every building in the city that I look for.

hey i love that program!! !! tim_rex are u a georgraphic info systems tech?? and are they the people who make maps??

my favorite places to look are any place with the extreme high res. such as massachussetts, las vagus strip, philadelphia, i love these areas because of the detail and many people comment on the area(the little i's)

another favorite is looking at large and unique areas like the wonders of the world and areas that are small like small communities in the middle of the sahara desert in africa. the grand canyan is last place i looked at when i last opened google earth(saturday)

i also use it as a tool too in case my friend who teaches driver's ed gets lost (that sounds odd to me but happens)he would txt message me from his phone and ill tell him how to get home or to another place. at times GE is more accurite then mapquest.

best download and favorite soo far(i have GE4 the beta version)

The person from the Geek Squad who recently repaired my computer installed this for me. It's really quite interesting, especially looking at corporate headquarters in New York, areas of Japan and Europe.

I used Google Earth, I tried to look up where I lived and they got it wrong. :x :x

They put my house on the wrong side, and it's just a blob. :?

They don't bother with places like mine :( , but put loads and loads and loads and loads of detail on their Google Headquarters.
