Advice on using QTP?

Does any one know how to use HP Quick Test Pro? I really need a new job because I hate my current job and my uncle said he might be able to get me a job as a software tester at his company. He said no qualifications would be necessary and I'd only have to know how to use QTP. He told me to just download the 30 day trial and work it out for myself.

So I need some software to test right? What am I supposed to load into it? Any software or some type of file that's specifically meant to be loaded into QTP? If I could just get started I could figure out the rest for myself. This could be a good opportunity for me because they say most jobs are gained through personal connections, not resume spamming.

It's most likely a toolkit for defining & automating tests of existing software
