Trouble with getting an Adblock for Chrome
Yes, it's the Windows XP OS computer again. I really can't wait for it to die so I can get a new one.
I switched to Chrome recently because Firefox's Plugin Container kept spiking my CPU usage making watching videos unbearable and I was watching a Longplay I finally found on Batman Arkham Origins. I tried to get an adblocker thinking it would be simple, but no, it comes in a CRX file and my computer can't read them. It turns out there might be some registry errors. No s**t, the ones I already thought I fixed are either undone when I shutdown my computer for the night and start it up in the morning or there are just so many more undetected. There's way too many pay-for stuff to fix it all. I just recently cancelled my card after my 14 yr old brother shared is PlayStation profile for the 3rd time in a row, got it hacked (again), and this time, information was stolen and a $150 fraud came after. What on PlayStation network costs almost $150.00?!? I checked and I had only less than $10 at the time before the fraud late November. I don't trust what's in my bank nor what I do with it online anymore. Why does he always put "trying to be cool" before common sense? Whatever, I just want the adblocker without having to go through more obstacles before it's properly installed.
Thanks.
