The Imac came out in 1998, which makes it 15 years old, not 27 years old. --Still though, what's the point of putting a computer from 1986 on the internet besides saying that it can be accomplished?

Sure you can do this, but can you really do anything with it once you have accplished this?

Thats nothing compared to this guy who used a 1964 modem to connect his laptop to the internet.

That's a Mac Plus, not an iMac. Trust me, I know a few things about vintage Macs, and despite finding modern Macs to be merely overpriced PCs in shiny cases, I have an appreciation for the older, pre-x86 Macs.

I do too, as they were special. A few models of the LC Family Macs could be fitted with a card that could allow the computer to run Apple II, II+, and IIe/IIc software.
