Bukkit on OpenIndiana

Hi I was wondering if I can run Bukkit OpenIndiana which is a robust enterprise operating system, based on the illumos kernel which is a open community fork of the OpenSolaris operating system if so how do I do it.

You should be able to run it just fine, as its java. I would recommend downloading and installing the latest JRE/JDK from oracle and not dealing with OpenJDK.
