Weirdest thing just happened...program froze&deleted acc

I started up Crysis, the load screen got to 95%, froze, repeating sound...check back two hours later and I was in too much of a hurry to get started again, that I didn't read whatever error message there was. Just pressed enter a couple times, then I was sent to the Windows login screen...and my account was no longer there. WTF?! Damn, should have said what I was pressing enter on.

Anyone ever had an error like this?
I have lots of important stuff on that account and I really need help on it
