I just saw this article, and it is one of the most interesting I've come across in a while. I'll be interested to see the results when more research and testing are done:

Actually (according to the results), the Cannae drive doesn't work. Or rather, it does, but so does the EmDrive, despite lacking the slots that are supposed to make the Cannae drive work. Currently, there are four different ideas on how it works (though Fetta's one has been ruled out), five if you include the Mach effect. Six if you include thrusting off dark matter...

The problem is, of course, with P = TV; that is, power equals thrust times velocity, which is required to avoid violating the conservation of energy.Of course, for fairly low velocities, that's not such a problem, but I'm interested in interstellar travel. Still, it's useful for the few hundred meters per second required to nudge comets towards planets (for terraforming purposes, of course), and combined with beamed power, would make interstellar travel somewhat more efficient.
