Excellent blog post explaining the dangers of NMOs. They are often resistant to pesticides, encouraging farmers to spray them liberally. They even produce their own pesticides, and some contain endocrine disruptors!

I demand that NMO's be labeled, and strict production quotas enacted.

Point taken.

Nature made chemical defenses for crops long before we started to muck around with that.

One such product already IS labeled as pretty much as you suggest!

Nicotine is essentially an insecticide genetically programmed by nature to protect tobacco plants, and "the Surgeon General Has Determined That...".
