Toshiba latop hinge

I just recently bought a toshiba sattellite laptop it's great and all, except when it's open i press on the piece of plastic on the hinge it makes a clicking sound! i'm very disappointed about the build quality of laptops now days.

Don't stereotype all current laptops based on one....

I've a Toshiba, it's been fine up to this point. maybe you could write to Toshiba if it is fairly new.
