Next, one will take the natural log of both sides.
ln((1.07)^L)=ln(B/C)
A couple of the rules of natural logs is that ln(a^c)=c*ln(a) and ln(a/c)=ln(a)-ln(c). Thus, we shall use those rule on the equations above.
L*ln((1.07))=ln(B)-ln(C)
L=[ln(B)-ln(C)]/ln(1.07)
