I'm thinking of buying a machine (not building one at all) from an online place. It's also important to me that I get the biggest specs for my limited budget. I want to play a game on it, it's a geopolitical simulator game with 3D graphics engine. I might consider a shared-memory APU.

The specs on the game's website listed here:

How much would a machine that can play this cost me, not including the game itself? Am I screwed? I play the older version of this game, still, and I want to finally upgrade already. My PC is even too slow to play the older version. It plays very crappy on this PC.

I dont know which country you are in so i cant really tell you how much ;)

However, those specs are found in computers several years old. I have a dell optiplex 780 that i bought on ebay a couple of years ago for £100 and I put in a nvidia graphics card for £30. It has a 3GHz processor(DC), 4GB RAM.

Basically, any cheap computer made in the last 5 years should do it, you just might have to replaced the graphics card for a better one. Any with onboard graphics is likely to be kak

I don't know anything about graphics cards so I don't know how to get one that is even half-decent. Plus, we need to account for anti-virus needs too.
