I have recently been looking for an old computer to play DOOM and Quake on. Something
not too fast but can run Windows 98 without a problem and could connect to internet from
dial-up or DSL. Do you know how to get one for cheap

I've got an old Windows 98 computer that I never use anymore and it's got I think a Pentium 233 MHz processor if I remember correctly. 64 MB RAM I believe and a 13.6 GB hard drive that runs at 5400 RPM. I never use it anymore because it is too old to do anything productive enough for me because my new computer is much better then it is. It's been so long since I used it that I don't remember much about it but I'm pretty sure that at least that info I provided is most likely correct. It's just the tower and nothing else. It does have a modem and a 100 Mbps Ethernet adapter.

I wouldn't really mind getting rid of it if you did want it but with the amount of money that it would cost to ship it to you it probably wouldn't be worth it.

However you were probably just wanting to know where a good place would be to get one so I'm probably wasting your time posting this, sorry.

Goodwill and such. They are always getting these things donated. Nobody has a use for them, so you can pick them up pretty cheap. Another way is to look in the classifieds. A lot of papers have a thrifties section, you shouldn't be paying more than $50 in the US though. Some people ask around 200. They're more willing to negotiate though.
