I've had a Mac, an iPad, and iPod already. Now I've finally made the switch from Android to iPhone because I had enough money to get one my parents didn't pick. I got a 4s because that was all I could afford and talked the folks into adding a data plan just to my phone for now, so I won't always need WiFi. I just had to promise that I would turn it off and use WiFi when it is available without a password.

I too have a 4s. I find it perfect for my needs, and can think of no reason to upgrade. I think you will enjoy how readily it syncs with your other Apple devices; I know that I do.

I just upgraded from 4 to 5s.

The good thing is that most things that will use data like podcasts and updates WILL NOT download automatically unless you tell them to UNLESS it's on WiFi. Nice that it avoids burning through bandwidth on the data plan without asking you first.
