Is Internet Explorer only for slow/beginner typists?

I normally use Google Chrome but when I'm using public computers I use Internet Explorer because Google Chrome is so painfully slow on public computers, and it's so weird. When I'm typing, letters get missed out on the screen, so I have to keep going back to correct the missing letters that appear in every other word. I'm not normally a perfectionist, but I am when it comes to typing. So I have to type really slow, looking up at the screen between each word.

Why does Internet Explorer do this? Is it supposed to?

I don't think this is a problem with IE, but with the computers, for the same reason as why Chrome is slow.

Public computers tend to have only the bare minumum amount of RAM memory; which makes the computer running at nearly the best of its ability just to keep IE open, this means that typing fast (on any browser or program, word will have the same problem) will be too fast for the computer.

I am also a fast typer, and i see no difference in "comprehension" between the different browsers, when used on the same device (i'm a software tester, so i use 4 different browsers on the same computer regularly)

Open up the task manager and see how many processes Chrome launches.

I only use Chrome for webpages that have Adobe flash. Chrome takes care of updating it.

I got soooo tired of having to log in as admin to update flash + more, so I deleted anything Adobe.

Most public computers are cheap computers with low specs that are hardly kept up to date software wise.
They probably have tons of malware on them too.

Also Chrome isn't exactly known for being resource easy.
