The more I use it, the less able it is to handle games like Minecraft.

My Mac is like my car; I know nothing about it except you turn it on and you go. On a PC however, I can probably have any issues straightened up in no time.

I don't know if it has a defrag, error checking, on board anti-virus and spyware checker/eliminator or any kind of junk file cleaning system or registry cleaner.

It used to be able to play games just fine but lately, not so much. Can you help?

Sorry I can't be very helpful, but there is that old joke with PCs vs Mac.

I would just google how to do on a Mac all the things you mentioned. Macs aren't supposed to have problems, so there is generally less stuff out there to fix them, not including the "geniuses".

Maybe there's a Mac expert on these forums. Anything is possible.
