Delete your account.
And/Or
Download the White List (or other extension) for Fire Fox (or whatever browser you use) which lets you block websites you add to the extension.

Delete your account. Keep going on YouTube, without an account. Or stop going on YouTube.

Or use an adblocker and make it disable the comments.

Just ... STOP.

Since it takes more effort to do something than to not do it, then just don't do it!

"Delete your account" is good advice.

Or, you might try the rubber band trick.

Shrinks sometimes suggest to patients with compulsive habits (like over eating, smoking, cutting)to wear rubber bands on their wrists: when an intrusive thought appears-they snap a rubber band. The little jolt of pain is like mild shock therapy.

Snap it when you see something on U Tube that causes the urge to type a comment! :)

Yes, that's great advice. I recommend this.

Not necessarily. Many counterexamples of this erroneous statement come to mind.

Don't let it notify you when someone replies to a comment you made. Turn off that feature.

One thing you might learn in life, you will never change anybodies mind by having an argument, therefore, post your comment and run, those people that are receptive will think you have a valid point, those who are opposed enough to argue, you will never change their minds, their world view is more important to them than facts, its like those people who believe the official story about 911, they want to believe it so much that you are simply wasting your time even talking to them.

Exactly this.

Also, replying to every reply signals to trolls that you take the bait and they will keep posting B.S just to bait you to keep replying to their senseless posts.

Formulate your first post well and review it several times until you are sure that this could be your definite statement. If it's strong enough, you don't need to reply to subsequent comments.

willpower.

If you want to stop, then stop. If you find it hard then you need to regulate your internet usage.

The are tools but ultimately the responsibility lies with you, as these could always be disabled.

Actually, it takes less energy to not respond than to respond at all.

If the OP is making comments, then it is because he wants to, he chooses to, and he does it.

It's no one's fault but his own.

I think the OP has an addiction.

It is also not true that it takes less energy to respond than to not respond. Ever hear of OCD? (rhetorical)
