Romero just released a new version of one of the maps in DOOM after a 21-year hiatus. I couldn't get enough of this game when I was younger, so this is definitely a treat. Works great in PrBoom (semi-modern Windows/Linux/Mac client), and probably other modern Doom clients as well. You will need the original doom1.wad file though. Have fun!

I spent so many hours on .wad's back in the day. Now I'm going to have to research how to get Doom up and running on a modern system, both to show my kids their gaming heritage and to try his new level!
