I follow the news of the information world and I leart that microsoft tries to turn the win 10 users' lockscreen to an advertisment board:

I would like to hear from the experiences becuse I haven't experienced anything like that on my computer while I use windowsw 10 and I haven't changed any of my lockscreen settings.

I wonder if my windows haven't effected becuse of my languare and/or becuse it isn't 100% legfal windows. :?:

I have the setting mentioned in the article turned off. Don't remember, but I guess I must have changed it myself, as I think my machine was Windows 8 to start with.

My Windows 10 is set to its highest privacy settings. My browser, even more so. I accept no advertisements.

Microsoft doesn't seem to be aware of - or maybe just doesn't care - that people expect ads or at least often accept them on "free" products. But if someone pays $180 for the top of the line version...they still get ads. They've always had a certain disdain for users, but it's reaching a breaking point as they lose market share to phones & other OS's.

I think this is a non-issue.

I never see these because I have set my lock screen to an image of a Lufthansa A320 flying just off the ground in front of a Lufthansa A380.

Just set your lockscreen to a slideshow or image of your choice, and you won't see these ads.

@Adamantium - why those particular planes, if I may ask (I love finding out why people prefer certain things over others that to someone else may seem too similar to differentiate)?
