I need to write an if,then statement in excel to make text below a certain value one colour and above another colour. I can write if,then to separate the data but don`t know how to incorporate the diferent text colour.
Anyone help?

I think you're talking about conditional formatting.

In the "format" drop-down menu at the top, you will find conditional formatting.

Put in your greater than or equal to value, then click on the button labeled format, to the right of the big box that says "no format set".

There you will find a button labelled color.

You will need to repeat this for the less than value.

Is this what you meant? Or have I wasted your time?? I'm using Excel 2003, by the way, but I think it's the same on Excel 2000.
