Hey, I'm kind of new. I was just wondering if any of y'all are into coding for websites and if you are what do you typically use?

I use a mix of ASP and html, not particularly by choice. The website I inherited was originally written in ASP several years ago. Since then people have only added and modified the ASP code.

I just use HTML and CSS. Sometimes I don't even use CSS and then other web designers will tell me how much I suck because I just use HTML. It hurts. XP

From time to time I'll use Flash too. I've never learned any other design languages though.

I don't really claim to be a good designer, I just happen to be the only person around that knows any web design stuff. Then people ask me to do stuff for them and I usually say yes for some reason.

I don't think any of my sites have ever completely passed any of those HTML/CSS validity tests. Mostly because I keep using outdated coding and I'm not into it enough to learn the new codes. XP

Ruby, php for XML, (X)HTML, binary.

I use CSS for styling as much as I can. I can do a decent simple design but I'm not a graphic designer . I used to be a lot more creative, but I lost it some how.

Do a bit of AJAX, Flash, SOAP, RSS. But I'll do what ever the client wants. I like reading up on file format specifications, especially binary level stuff. But that goes more into my overall interest in programming.
