Bought a Dell with Windows 8 a few months ago. After using it a couple of months I took up the computer's invitation to replace 8 with 10. Recently found out that I would be able to run audacity if I had NOT gotten windows 10. Is it possible or feasible to get rid of 10 and go back to 8. Probably not I am guessing.

My dad did, apparently, because my sister installed it by accident and he got rid of it. I don't know how he did it, though. Look it up online?

I think you are limited to a one month trial of Windows 10 during which time you can roll back to your previous operating system. After a month it is too late. Personally I use Linux, as I hate Windows 10 and all its embedded spyware.
