Grrrrr - What has MSN done now???

My screen went blank, said it was Restarting and doing something or other - I thought it was Up-Dating in rather a peremptory manner. And it took forever, to the point that I went back to bed. When I got up, my laptop brought me to a world reminiscent of Windows 8. I can't use my laptop at all.

I use (or try to use) Google Chrome.

If there's anything that would make this system functional, or remove it, I'd be very grateful if you'd tell me.

It has given you another reason to stop using MSN, or even Windows :nerdy:

You mean there is such a thing as life without Windows? How can I accomplish that? Please realize that you are writing to a dufus who understand On, Off, and Restart. I was fine with Windows 10. My needs are simple. No gaming, unless you count Solitaire and Monopoly. I use Word and Excel. I hate MSN.com. Is there a benevolent, cheap way?
