I'm trying to download some videos off of Wikimedia Commons but whenever I try and download them with the button, it doesn't download, just takes me to a new URL with just the video and a gray background. I can't drag them to my desktop like an image, it's on Firefox, and it's really getting on my nerves. And weirdly some do download. Anyone have any suggestions?

that sounds like a strange way to download files (video or otherwise).

have you tried right-clicking and selecting "save target as..."?
