Never tried pizza with pineapple topping. Will have to do that this weekend to celebrate.

In fact...since its now the day after Pi day, and is now "the Ides of March" maybe I should "eat two".

I vote for pizza being the official food for Pi day :lol: 8)

(I love pineapple on pizza! I use it as a topping along with jalapenos- they go so nicely together :chef:)

That's radical. Combining pineapple with jalepano on a pizza. I suppose that the cool fruitiness of the former could counter balance the heat of the latter.

Pizza is delicious with both pineapple and jalapeno, but I've never had the combination of them, sounds like it could be tasty.

There was a pizza available a while back that combined pineapple with hot spices. It was so good.

Seriously, the "Hawai'ian" pizza I make includes pineapple, Canadian bacon, sweet bell peppers, mushrooms, marinara sauce, and extra mozzarella cheese on a semi-risen crust.  My wife likes to add red pepper flakes to hers.  I sometimes dip mine in store-bought barbecue sauce.

YES! Sweet pineapple balanced with spicy jalepeno and / or hot banana peppers. Perfection on a pie.
