I was wondering if anyone here who might be working with Angular 8/9 wanted to start a side-chat by PM at some point.
The reason I'm interested in doing this - I get that many work environments are turning into not only 'every man for himself' but if you have to do something, the content's not covered on StackOverflow or Google can't return a search for your question because there's no language for your question that the search engine would understand adequately, you may also be in a position where the people you're working for have no clue how long something can take or how involved it might be - therefore they have no clue why you spent all day researching some stubbornly annoying piece of the project and to their way of thinking that such a nondescript problem took any longer than an hour is a performance issue.
By advanced I don't necessarily mean dialectically advanced in terms of wild code (it can be), I'm thinking more like some of the oblique problems you might run into with respect to how the shadow DOM, generators/yields (promise, async/await, etc.) as well as your never's and unintended consequences with those that can cake up even the best layed plans if you simply lack certain specific knowledge.
Let me know if there are any takers here. My main thought - it should be both high quality and rare, ie. while we're all learning together someone might throw up a question once every few months and that's fine, that means it's most likely one of 'these'. The main reason I'd limit it like that - obviously I neither want to mooch nor would I want anyone else to do so. I think we can agree though that we're living in hard times, occasionally when people have no idea what it is you do they can give you a C or D grade for performance for not being able to lift the rear tires of a bus off the ground by yourself unaided and it's simply because this is siloed knowledge and with the way power (and sh**) rolls downhill that means it becomes our problem.
Anyway let me know if you'd be up for that - ie. sort of like having a 'last resort' phone-a-friend sort of thing.
What I can contribute to that - somewhat irregular but mid to advanced level Angular and .Net Core / C#.
