The other day, I used a Visa gift card I got for my birthday to make purchases on iTunes. After making the purchases, I had about 50 cents left on the card, which I used to get something to eat.
Figuring I was done with the card, I threw it away.
Meanwhile, I got another Visa gift card for Christmas. When I entered the account info for the new card, after pressing “done”, i got a message that my card was declined.
Also, I noticed that the last purchases I had made with the first card were still listed as pending even though it had been two days since i made the purchase.
The question: Was I supposed to wait until the purchase went through before I entered the new card info into the billing info section, or was it likely a technical error?
