Why high-class people get away with incompetence

Another untitled article (I titled it "Incompoop") backs this up. It cites a book called "Why Do So Many Incompetent Men Become Leaders? (And How To Fix It)" by leadership psychologist Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic.

The book seeks to answer the question: "How can rational people who have their best interests at heart fall for charismatic con artists who promise them the impossible while pursuing harmful agendas and corrupt selfish interests?" The premise is not that all men are incompetent, but that incompetent men are frequently rewarded by society. The much bigger problem is the lack of career obstacles for incompetent men, especially men of wealth and unearned privilege.

well the entire world will remember them with the euphemism - They Tried Their Best . ..

tis time's plague when the madmen lead the blind ..
tis time's trouble when big kids fool with big toys ..

and judging from the current state of the world it is getting more and more clear to everyobe that our [neo]liberal leaders have very little awareness of a) people of their own country b) people of other countries c) themselves d) human history e) the natural ways of this world

it seems a) the liberals vs the conservatives , b)the moderates vs the populists , c) the pre gen X vs the post gen X will last for quite some time .. all going concurrently. i dont think intelligent ppl bother to run for office at this point of time .. they know this country is insolvable; only power hungry or agenda desperado or really determined ppl do, and the first two likely to flunk things further.
