iPhones vs. Android. Opinions?

For people who have used both iPhones and Android phones, what do you like about one or the other? Pros and cons?

iPhones are overpriced but found it relatively easy to use. Prefer android in all honesty, felt like I had more freedom being able to download a load of stuff, not being restricted to just the app store but takes a bit of getting used to.

I had an Android eight years ago, and have had two iPhones since then (I only replace a phone when it ceases to be supported with OS updates).
What I miss about the Android is the download freedom already mentioned above, full access to the file tree and the battery life.
I’m happy with iPhones though: the software stability alone is worth putting up with its defects in the above three areas. I also find them easier to use most of the time.
