Changed the acrylic window to a heavier grade, cut a 120 millimeter hole to mount a 120 mm fan, changed the screws to acorn head bolts.

In the back you can see my kitty, Joey Spaghetti Paws, who helps with my projects!

I can see he's just fixed your problem... you had forgotten to plug the Ethernet cable back in.

Are you sure he isnt an evil cat who is unplugging random things? I had a dog that would do that.

very nice :D What case is that Fuzzy?

I did a few case mods on my computers usually I add holes in the blank 5.25 bay covers and add a intake fan behind them.

the case i have is a black lian li pc7 plus 2 with A side window but i got the window from a store because i dont know where to get acrylic or how to cut it with out scratching. i like your fan also where it is, the one on my case is behind a grill small holes so it is a bit hidden, does not suck in enough air.

I got my acrylic at home depot. I first bought some thin stuff for about 10 bucks, but you really want the heavier stuff, 0.22 inches. The thinner stuff can be cut and snapped. there should be acrylic blades sold near the sheet. Google some instructions for cutting acrylic. The sheets come with a protective cover, but you'll still want to inspect it carefully. Minor scuffs on the protective covering is fine.

For the holes I tried regular bits, but they tend to crack the acrylic. I got some glass bits(also from home depot). They were about 20 bucks for four. I use a drill press. The bigger the bit is, the more likely it will crack the acrylic. go slow. Clean the bit often.

For cutting, score and snap, as per google. Thicker can be saw cut.. a dremel or router is best. I scored my 0.22 sheet, but it was hard to snap. Wear safety glasses and gloves at all times.

For the large hole I bought a adjustable hole cutter at princess auto for 10 bucks. Adjusted out to 120 mills its waaay to fast and lightly melted the plastic. It also felt dangerous. Next time I will use a router table.

How did you know? The ethernet plug needs a better crimp. Its loose and tends to fall out when I move the case.
