Recommendations please for good,easy to use, free/inexpensive, voice to text software. I've tried Voice typer. It was crap.

If you’re using Windows 11 (and 10 I believe), if you just press Windows key + H, it should automatically bring up the dictation software in whatever text field you’re in and allow you to start talking.

thanks but I'm struggling to get this right. just another thing I'm totally useless at more proof that I'm a barrier probably due to poor kitchen now I know why so many misinterpret what I say it's so frustrating this is bacram easy no wonder people think I'm stupid and they were listeria
