"Most of us may not consider ourselves "geeks" yet we spend a lot our time in front of a computer. In reality, you don't have to live a geek lifestyle to show early signs of health problems that affect those in techie fields such as programmers, web designers, or other IT workers. Today, most office workers sit in front of a computer for more than eight hours, then go home to sit in front of a computer for another eight..."

Being sedentary is a serious problem. I like to ride my bicycle.

Computer tech for close to 30 years.

WAY too much screen time.

53 years old. Diabetic and overweight.

At first, computers seemed like a great idea. Now I would sell at least two limbs to be able to switch careers.

I probably do spend a lot of time in front of the screen, but I do different things with it. It's fairly convenient for viewing assignments which my professors (whom you might blame are the sedentary ones) upload on the Internet and wouldn't have it any other way, I write on the computer, draw, and watch movies as well. However, just because I get a lot of screen time doesn't mean I don't have any time left for exercise. It at least helps that there is a sport I enjoy doing, even if I don't like the other ones.

it definitely affects my health. My vision gets worse every year. I don't care though, I don't havea life outside of the computer.

computer tech, but I keep a pair of progressivly larger weights not far from my work station. Whenever I can, I like to light them with my free arm. Helps out a bit.

I'm working on my bachelor Computer Science at the moment.

So far I am keeping up with my fitness / powerlifting but I do have to admit it's hard to keep up, especially when the study is so fun and the training heavy at times. :P Apart from that I get no exercise at all, so it's quite vital. And I eat well. So my looks are still ok.

I feel alot better because of my fitness / powerlifting it, so I'l do all I can to keep up. :D

I try to make it to the gym every other day. It ends up being every three days and sometimes less frequently, however.

I guess I'm quite OK. I could use more exercise, but I do walk anywhere if I have the time (even about 10 km and then back later), and once a week I give shiatsu - that's not very strenuous but it's physical, so it may be optimal...

And I don't eat much, so I'm slim.
