I am just about to sell a computer for my Used Computer Buisness.[Its a Gateway with a 366Mhz Celeron w/ 256MB Memory.] I replaced the puny 6GB Quantum HD with a 20 and 60GB
Western Digital HD. Installed Windows 2000 SP4 [Microsoft Greatest Operaing System to this date.] On the 20GB HD. Heres what i installed For Protection.

AVG Antivirus Free
ZoneAlarm Free
Ad-Aware 2007
Mozilla Firefox 2
Pop-Up Stopper [For users wanting to use IE.]
CCleaner
Spybot S&D

The Computer is flying when it comes to Performence.[ It shuts down automatically and boots in 10 Seconds while only using 95MB of the 256MB Installed.] However i was doing website compatability tests with all the most Popular sites on the web. [Youtube, Online Mail, Facebook, Ect...] When i get into Myspace the computer shuts down the windows.

Shuts down automatically?
Anyway, I'd say you have some spyware or something, despite all the crap you've installed (or maybe because of it). Several of those spyware protection programs actually GIVE you spyware. It's how they make their business (and it's illegal, but whatever). They're worthless anyway.

Most of those programs are totally unhelpful. Spyware blockers don't work. Antivirus doesn't either. And the very last thing you need to install is some Pop-Up blocker for IE. If I recall correctly, the newest version of IE does this already. In any case, you should never be using IE anyway. The only things you really should keep are ZoneAlarm and Firefox. Get rid of the rest.

And Windows for that matter. I say format and install Linux. Use Ubuntu if you're not familiar with it.

If Reinstalled Win 2000 and everything worked fine. However when i went to the Microsoft Website and updated to SP4 i started to get issues. I also picked up a Pay-For copy of Spyware- Doctor from OfficeMax and nothing was found.
