It looks like almost a childish scheme
so why do I have no idea how to do any of this
I really can't stand the fact I don't understand this because it looks like a simple pattern which normally would be very easy
very frustrating

i guess i need to see as many examples as possible so i can reverse engineer the whole thing
anybody know where i can get a bunch of these listed out
the more the better
i'm not looking for answers i'm looking to understand it
but i need the solutions so i can go backwards

hopefully it will click later

I had no idea what you were talking about, but it sounded interesting, so I Googled the thread subject.

    From which I gathered:
  • LS-Coupling is Russel-Saunders-Coupling
  • it is an approximation
I doubt that you will be able to "reverse engineer" from approximate results to anything very useful.

the thing is really
i understand what's going on
and even more, i know that be able to give this notation will not actually help me understand anything it has to do with

it's basically just notation but i have no idea what they are doing
so seeing a few examples d3 f2 ...etc. and then seeing the final table and notation
i definitely will be able to reverse it
i learned calculus very well completely by looking at answers and working backwards, it just works well with things that are distinct
but...it doesn't work with analysis :(
