I just switched to the default "Lunar" theme in Windows XP and oh my god...I forgot how stupid it looks! I've been using the "classic" theme for years now and just forgot how repulsive the default theme looks. It looks like it was created for 5 year olds or something. I have a feeling that Microsoft was originally reserving the "Lunar" theme for Windows XP Kindergarten Edition. :P

What theme do you guys use?

I could never understand why Classic isn't the default anyway. Bad enough we get a whole new OS shoved down our throats every three years, they have to change the GUI, too, so you can't find even the most common functions.

I use the Windows XP Zune Final Theme, with blue colour scheme. I don't own a Zune, I just like the look.

Classic, due to the fact that i like the older Windows look and it actually seems like a computer. Not some Fisher- Price Toy Teaching children how to use computers. Its also less glittery and keeps people on task when they are working on or learning to use a computer. Thats why Windows Server 2003 came with Classic as default.

I always thought I was alone in liking classic. Glad to see that I'm not...

I think this is all towards trying to get NT's to use computers...

Classic with all animations, sliding palettes, sounds, etc turned off, I've done this ever since my first encounter with XP.

I use a theme called Luna QQ, I like it because it does not look bloated but at the same time it is not deathly gray like windows classic.

Currently, I am using an alternitive desktop shell, so I have no "theme" to speak of.
Where could I get a Pokémon theme? I do plan to switch back to plain old windows/without alternitive shell, but I would like a better theme.

Why does everything have to be about some arbitrary line drawn in the sand between people with AS and NTs? Realise that there really isn't any huge difference between you and the rest of the people in the world and you will find yourself more able to relate to people, and not sound so hostile towards people outside of your own narrow experience of people.

I never really minded the Luna theme in XP.

I switched to classic after reading this thread, to see if I'd really miss anything Luna offers. It's a nice change, so far.
