So I got a case for my microATX mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6811133035

I put everything into it, but there's one problem: the bloody thing won't turn on.

All the headers for power/reset buttons are in place, the mobo power is securely fastened, and, yes, the power supply is plugged in.

I know the problem doesn't lie in the power supply or the mobo (since I've used both for some years now, and they've worked reliably with no signs of imminent failure. I also tried to use the power switch header from another case on it. Still nothing...

Any other suggestions?

I caint see how this would be because of a case... seeing as its not acrylic.

It's possible the power button up front was damaged in shipping, newegg isn't exactly known for being gentle with their goods.

Try plugging the reset into the power switch on the mobo, then hit the reset button. If it powers on, there you go.

And also see if the idiot switch on the back of the PSU got flipped. It ought be on the line, not the O, thats if it has one.

If none of these things work, you may have to take it to a shop, as you might have a random hardware failure.
