I bet you all knew that but did any of you ever miss around with Aohell?

I remember when I was a teenager I used to use these third party programs called "punters" that would send IMs with an overwhelming amount of HTML code that made AOL crash. Or you could knock out a whole chat room. It was fun as hell.

I also used to steal people's password using these trojan programs that take the password that is typed in the password box of the aol sign on screen and emailed it straight to me

I know, I know I was "bad" lil script kiddie, but today I wouldn't dare try to pull a stunt like that, the stakes are too high.

So did of you ever "hack" aol or some other hated company?

Not really, AoHell are a bad, bad company who are too authoritarian and patronising.

People need something to wake them up out of the AoHell Stupor, and it seems as though many people are leaving it in their 10's of 1,000's.

Bring on autonomous, self-determining Broadband, I say!

I had AOL a long time ago. I kept getting hacked, and I was using a free demo.

That's illegal and you know you can go to jail for that. I know AOL sucks but still.

My brother had it, it was hell getting it canceled. My mother has it now on dial-up, the damn thing is nearly crippling her computer, but she's to stubborn and such to switch to something better.

I'd take almost anything over AOL.

She probaly has McAfee Internet Security. If i where her i would get PeoplePC Online or Netzero for Dial-Up. However i would uninstall McAfee and get something less resource demanding like Norton or Avast. [Probaly Avast if shes still using Dial-Up.]

I used AOHell from 3.0 to 9.0. Thats how long it took to get it canceled. :P

I LOVED it when it was old and I was young... now I know what it does and hate it.
