Web surfing. In my Ubuntu partition, I also play some of the games it came with and spend considerable time trying to get my sound working. When I use Windows (not so often), I use iTunes and Power Tab a lot.

Web surfing, documents, graphics, gaming, web design, watching tv, listening to music, managing finances, education, computer troubleshooting, networking.

I do everything with my computer. Computers are the only thing in life I truly have patience for :)

Don't you mean pirating movies illegally.

Internet, IM, forums, school work, podcasts, music, video playback, video encoding, small amounts of programming here and there. No games though.

Mostly for web surfing, music storage(Ripping CDs), music play, putting music on my thumb drives to listen in the car and on my MP3 player to listen at work, to keep lists, as an alarm clock(I have Alarm, a free download), as a clock(I have a clock screensaver), to watch streaming videos, and that's mostly it.

I used to use it for games, but games don't work on it anymore(My vid card died and I haven't got another one), except the games that came on it which only my brother plays.

Programming most of the time - I'm a professional software developer. Followed by surfing, email and IM.

Websurfing,
Programming,
Gaming.

Probably in that order.

Websurfing and programming I do in Ubuntu.

Gaming I do in Ubuntu(Dosbox and Vice) and
sometimes I boot Windows 98SE ( for Deus Ex, System Shock 2 and MoO-2).

gamefreak:
just a note on nice movies in creative commons sense and the like:
 http://www.legaltorrents.com (animations, audio books, books, movies). On animations I saw story of stuff lately. Licensed as: by-nc-nd/3.0/Creative Commons
 http://www.jamendo.com (only music, with various creative commons licenses) - I prefer Nexus artist with album "trance planet", also a bit of the "listen" album by the group/artist Try^d (tryad I would call it)

and some of it is good. Some is professional work

I might try that, Thanks. I'm just tired of everyone getting BiTorrent and downloading movies and tv shows off torrent sites like "The Pirate bay", and "LimeWire".
