my sister sandisk sansa 4gig mp3 player won't do anything unless she update the firmware. But the place that she bought it from can't update it and the company won't do a thing. can she update the firmware from another website or does she have to buy a new one?

First of all What Sansa does she have? Google SanDisk Sansa firmware upgrade and carefully follow the instructions.

I know she owns a Sansa, but what does it look like? The firmware is downloadable from SanDisk's website.
