Well you either love it or hate it, or something in between. As for me, at first I was thrown off now I like it because it's more organized and reduces clutter. :o

I liked the wall from the old Facebook better, but apart from that I prefer the new one.

old facebook...

I still don't get what they mean by "reducing clutter"... if anything it's become more cluttered and unorganized...

Old facebook had everything easy to find. New facebook stuff still not difficult to find but the interface can get kind of clunky

The new Facebook freezes up Opera and I hate using Firefox because of the lack of Linux skins. The old facebook never did this in Firefox and Opera.

Is it actually user friendly now?

I prefer MySpace for this precise reason.

FaceBook and MySpace are not revolutionary like most people think they are. People could keep in touch electronically for many years now via email. Through email you can send pictures, type emails, send jokes, etc. It's all really the same as all the stuff you can do on FaceBook, without the pretty layout and 'hipness' of FaceBook.

[The] New Facebook sucks. [The] Old Facebook was better. It was simple but advanced at the same time. (I hate how people don't use "the" anymore like reporters say "iPhone sales" rather than "the iPhone sales". America is f'ed because they are so stupid. The treat sites and products like if it was a person. Demented, I say.)

And the New Facebook is like getting raped without getting a kiss. They forced the users to go onto the new Facebook, and they didn't even want to support the old version because they were too snobby that the New Facebook would the greatest thing since the New Coke. Facebook went on the wrong side when the site was totally whored with AJAX all over and the site had bugs before the New Facebook rape and after, because there were reports of bugs with their chat app. Facebook was harder to get around and if you clicked on a friend that wasn't yours, they had recently created a dialog box, and if you clicked cancel, it wouldn't go away. The older versions of Facebook would go onto a separate page.

I bleeped them before they [totally] bleeped me to steal a quote from a New York TV newsman. Translation: I closed my Facebook acct right after I was forced into the new page.

As I use email often, and I have 3 accounts and a BlackBerry, many of the Millennials whom grew up with MySpace and Facebook, think that email "is so dead". They think its more corporate and business like, and when they message on Facebook and MySpace, they consider that email. It's like their emailing system, even if the technology existed before them. And Facebook and MySpace is revolutionary, they bucked the trend of social applications and widgets that had never existed before. Some are stupid, and some are great, but these entities are making money where other older media entities are struggling.

I don't like Facebook (or any other social network/community for that matter) much, but I have to admit the new one is much more practical.

Easier on the eyes, too. Some of you may be disbelievers, but I guess it takes some getting used to. If you still prefer the old Facebook, I've heard there are applications that allow you to revert back to the old version.

Sorry to disappoint, but I think it's just one of those chain letters or fake petitions.
People had enough time to send in any feedback they had before they were forced to use the new Facebook.

8O It took me a few days to figure out where the applications were... at the bottom of the page. But other than that it seems alright.

The main reason why I had switched from MySpace to Facebook (old) was that the MySpace layout was incomprehensible. Facebook (old) was neat, orderly, and human-readable. Facebook (new) is just like MySpace: random boxes thrown all over the screen.
