Anyone here have any success installing Linux on the PS3? does not really matter which flavour persay.
I am really interested in the Cell Architecture particularly in regards to Genetic Programming

Never mind I got Gentoo to install, something about those SPUs make me happy.

A ps3 is just a computer with a nice graphics card and a nice OS. it works with Linux/Windows because it has the same CPU architecture.

I have a PS3 and they are nice pieces of hardware. They might not have the greatest game titles, and the Blu-Ray format may or may not survive, but there are soo many other things you can do with them.
I think I read somewhere the new 45nm Cell processors are capable of up to 6Ghz or more.
