Anyone dislike this term? It's just a water heater. Why heat water that is already hot?

I just call it the hot water tank rather than heater.

When someone says "hot water heater"
I usually tell them that's why their utility bills are so high.
And they give me this blank stare.
And then I am amused.

Interestingly, in steam locomotives they do heat steam which is already hot with a "superheater" which actually dries it out and somehow otherwise makes it more effecient.

And you can add "preplanning" to that list.
When someone says that, ask them what their postplanning is. After all, if the planning is specified as "pre" there is by definition the need to differentiate it from some other type of planning, which would pretty much have to be either concurrent or post
All planning is "pre"! If it's not pre it's not planning!
