I never use my laptop anymore, and I was wondering how much I should sell it for. It is pretty beat up, with a few missing case parts. The specs are:
1.5ghz dual core intel
1gb ddr2
integrated video
15.4 inch widescreen
vista home premium

What model?

You can go on e-bay and see what the competition is asking. If it's got obvious missing parts, you're probably looking at 'fair' condition at best.

Probably more than a hundred, but definitely less than a thousand.

How badly do the missing parts impact it?

First hit for "gateway ML6720" from Google -> $46-$80.

ya I would keep it for a stand by computer, you might be able to replace the missing covers with some scrap aluminum.

At the very least, you can run it on a flat surface such as wood or plastic block and turn it into a desktop replacement via a good powered USB hub and the video out put on the laptop :)
