I uninstalled Adobe (Acrobat?) a while back (I had a good reason, honest).
Since then I've tried downloading it from the Adobe site and installing it a couple of times, but it doesn't seem to work - i.e., I still cannot open PDF documents.
Does anyone know why this should be?
I need to install Adobe Reader, right? Or Acrobat?

You want to back that up? Make a confirmation? I'm calling you out. I'm no liar. And I'm not wrong. I actually tried it. Have you? You can even DL it from Download.com for free where it has also been confirmed to have no limitations and no additional requirements if you don't want to believe me. Go on, have a look.
Yeah, that's right. It IS FREE.

But really you should probably try Sumatra or evince or one of these other 600+ PDF programs or whatever at Download.com PDF software downloads instead of Foxit Reader.
Foxit was just the first thing that popped up on google. It is free though, contrary to that wrong person's word.

I tried to download Foxit for PocketPC. It has annoying limitations like a banner across the screen at all times. Apparently they operate a system called TrailPay, which you get it for nothing but it you have to pick and offer from an advertiser.

BTW I love the built-in Mac Preview, and QuickLook!! !
