What's a Projector Skeleton?

I just tried running an older program and got an error message almost as soon as I ran it.

"Projector Skeleton Has Stopped Working"

From what I can gather, it's part of macromedia's something or other. Either I need to update, uninstall or something but I don't know how to access macromedia's settings.

sounds like a macromedia (now adobe) director error. What program is it?
