Ok so i know that humans and many other species have had the luck of being able to adapt to many different enviormnets, but how do they do it, and how would i do it, and can someone give me an example of an adaptation in our modern life we use? Im looking to avoid that prune feeling you get when in the water to long, how could i change my body to do so, other than getting out after a period of time in the water.

Humans can adapt to any environment because we use tools: go to a desert, carry water in bottles. Go to the arctic, fur coats and igloos.

To avoid that prune feeling: drysuits would do it but really, not worth the trouble. I'm not sure what else would work.

Actually I would say that the thing that puts humans above other species is that we adapt the environment to help ourselves, rather than we adapting to the enviornment.

Sit in the tub for about 20 years and you might have a chance!

I don't really know if there is anything you can do for that, other than, like you say, getting out of the water when you get 'prune skin'. Try going swimming/bathing on regular basis for long intervals to see if your body gets used to it so you don't get this 'prune skin' after only a short period of time? Hey it's worth a go.
