I downloaded a movie a little while ago but it's not playing. It told me that I had to download a codec or something. I did that but it still won't play.

The progress bar shows it's trying to display something but it only lasts 2 seconds. It did the same thing when it told me about the codec. That time, it displayed the message but there's no message this time, just black.

It's a 799.9 megabyte movie that I'd really like to see.

what are you trying to play it in? what is the file? avi? divx? etc...

I once had that problem but downloaded a codec and it was fine...

Could it be a corrupt file?
